Symphonium Audio

Singapore, Singapore, Singapore · founded 2016

Boutique Singaporean IEM maker celebrated for the balanced-armature Helios reference monitor. Deeply intertwined with fellow Singapore boutique Subtonic — the two share R&D and co-developed FLAT tuning tech, and Symphonium is the exclusive manufacturer of Subtonic's flagship STORM.

Symphonium Audio is a boutique Singaporean in-ear monitor manufacturer. Conceptualized in 2016 by a founding team of three and launched publicly at CanJam Singapore 2018 with the Aurora and Mirage, the company designs, assembles, and QCs all of its IEMs in-house in Singapore. Symphonium is best known for its balanced-armature IEMs built around proprietary technologies such as the TrueX multi-way crossover, CORE+ acoustic chamber, and (with partner Subtonic) FLAT impedance/attenuation tuning. Since 2021 it has partnered closely with fellow Singaporean boutique Subtonic to share R&D and co-develop products; Symphonium is the exclusive designated manufacturer for Subtonic’s flagship STORM. It remains an independent firm with no conglomerate or parent ownership.
