Unique Melody (UM) is a Chinese boutique manufacturer of high-end custom and universal in-ear monitors, and one of the oldest CIEM houses in China. Founded in 2007 by engineers with hearing-aid-industry backgrounds, it began as a reshelling/remolding business for other brands’ IEMs before designing its own multi-driver monitors around 2008-2009. UM is known for pioneering hybrid and multi-driver designs and for being among the first to apply bone-conduction drivers to wired IEMs. Its lineup spans tribrid/quadbrid flagships (dynamic + balanced armature + electrostatic + bone conduction), a true-wireless model, and an open-back headphone, with flagships reaching summit-fi prices.
