Headphone Bar

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada · founded 2010

One of Vancouver's original dedicated headphone specialty shops (est. 2010), notable for letting customers audition gear in-store before Canada had many brick-and-mortar personal-audio retailers. The brand has since wound down: the storefront is closed and the same operators launched Odiyo Projects, a focused online outlet currently carrying only Burson Audio.

Independent Vancouver personal-audio retailer that sold headphones, earphones/IEMs, DACs, and headphone amplifiers both from a brick-and-mortar store on Main Street and online (shipping across Canada) starting in 2010. Known as an audition-friendly specialty shop where customers could try gear before buying. As of 2026 the physical store is closed and the headphonebar.com storefront redirects visitors to a successor online-only venture, Odiyo Projects (odiyoprojects.com), described on that site as “from the folks who brought you Headphone Bar,” which currently sells only Burson Audio DACs and amps.
