Guangzhou, Baiyun District, Guangdong, China · founded 2007
One of the defining brands of the modern budget/mid-tier portable hi-fi boom; helped popularize affordable DAPs and Bluetooth DAC/amp dongles, and runs sub-brands Jade Audio and Snowsky.
FiiO (Guangzhou FiiO Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., branded 飞傲) is a Chinese personal-audio manufacturer founded in 2007 in Guangzhou. It began making audio accessories and portable headphone amplifiers for portable music players, and grew into a full-line maker of digital audio players (DAPs), portable and desktop headphone amplifiers/DACs, Bluetooth DAC/amp dongles, in-ear monitors, and headphones. FiiO is known for delivering high feature-density and measurement-competitive audio gear at aggressive price points, and positions itself around raising the reputation of “Made in China” hi-fi. It designs and manufactures its own products (moving into a dedicated ~15,000 sq m industrial park in Baiyun District that became fully operational around 2024) and operates the sub-brands Jade Audio (online value-focused) and Snowsky (fashion/entry-level, launched 2024).
